This great town of Kernersville was established by its community members seeking liberty, Life, and the pursuit of happiness. When Kernersville was founded it had a small population of fewer than 200 residents. Those residents rolled up their sleeves, volunteered their time and skills to help in the construction of the railroad, and Kernersville, resulting in a strong community. Today, we aim to hold true these same values, in our hearts and in our actions. In order to back our community, support all of our neighbors, and cherish Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
